You will learn the principles of alignment which make it possible for virtually everybody to carry somebody else. You will quickly find out poses that look impossible on a picture are very doable, even for beginners. You don’t need experience, or a partner to do AcroYoga. An open mind will do.
Finding the link between our earth and air asanas we will explore the world of AcroVinyasa. Each class will begin with a solo vinyasa practice that will prepare your body for what we will be doing in the air, second we will focus on inversion training to build strength and confidence with the support of a partner, followed by our AcroYoga practice we will team up in groups of three to safely take our yoga practice from earth to air, finally we will return to our own mats in order to cool down and absorb all that we learned in our class. Let your inhibitions go and take flight with us.
Some yoga experience is desired, but no AcroYoga experience is necessary and beginners are encouraged to attend. No partner necessary.
